Adler Insurance explains why you should use a Healthcare Insurance Agent in Prescott.

Adler Insurance explains why you should use a Healthcare Insurance Agent in Prescott.Health Insurance is very confusing.  There are constant changes, lots of choices, many different companies and plans.  Why not have an expert helping you along the way?    Adler Insurance explains some of the misconceptions about using a Healthcare Insurance Agent in Prescott:

  1. They are just a middle man:  while this statement may be true…it doesn’t mean they aren’t needed.  A healthcare insurance agent is a key part of the process and can walk you through all of the steps in acquiring a proper policy that fits your specific needs.
  2. You pay more for a Healthcare Insurance Agent:  This is not true.  The agent is paid by the insurance company.  The price to you is the same whether you use an agent or not.  You might as well get the professional advice!
  3. The Agent has the insurance companies’ best interest in mind, not mine:  Most healthcare insurance agents are independent.  It is in their best interest to make sure you have the best plan available so you continue to stay with them year after year.
  4. There is no benefit to using an Agent:  There is always a benefit in getting professional advice for free.
  5. It’s easier to buy health insurance online:  Maybe a true statement if you are buying a pair of shoes.  Health Insurance is very complicated with many different options to consider.  If you choose the wrong plan, you cannot just return it for a refund.

We hope you enjoyed some of the above clarification.  As you can see, there is no cost to you to receive the professional advice of a qualified Healthcare Insurance Agent.

We encourage you to call us and talk further about your individual Healthcare Insurance needs in Prescott.  Jessie and Dina Adler at Adler Insurance would love to assist you in making good Healthcare decisions.  Please don’t hesitate to call 928-710-1455 or visit our website at http://www.AdlerLifeHealth.com today!

Adler Insurance talks about using a Medicare Insurance Broker in Prescott.

Adler Insurance talks about using a Medicare Insurance Broker in PrescottThere are always a lot of people turning 65 in the Quad City area.  This is an important age when it comes to Medicare decisions.  This is the age that you are able to sign up for Medicare and decide if supplements are right for you or if you should opt for a Medicare Advantage Plan.  These are not decisions to take lightly.  The Government has produced many handbooks, pamphlets, etc to help you in making a good decision, however, Medicare is somewhat confusing and the rules and language change almost every year.  Adler Insurance talks about why you might want to consider using a Medicare Insurance Broker in Prescott.  Here are some of the things you will need to know about your decision:
  1.  Are there deductibles?
  2.  Is there a monthly fee?
  3.  Does my plan include medication?
  4.  Are there limits to my coverage?
  5.  Are there doctors in my area who accept the advantage plan?
If any of this sounds overwhelming to you, you might want to really consider using a Medicare Insurance Broker to help you make informed decisions.  Your Broker will be well versed in the different plans, supplements and options for you to consider.

Some people say “but I don’t want to pay extra for a broker’s help!”  Don’t worry…you don’t have to!  Brokers get paid from the insurance companies and their commission does not affect your premium.  You will pay the same premium whether you sign up yourself or use a broker to help you.

What Are Medigap Plans? Medicare information provided by Adler Insurance in Prescott

Adler insurance in Prescott explains some information about Medigap policies
Medicare provides a whole lot of coverage, but it doesn't cover everything. Medigap is extra health insurance that you buy from a private party to cover co-payments, deductibles, and health care when traveling outside the United States, however you will pay a monthly premium for a Medigap policy. Adler Insurance brings you this information on the basics of Prescott Medigap policies.

Am I eligible for Medigap?

Medigap policies are only available to people who have Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B, although people who have a Medicare Advantage plan cannot get a Medigap plan. Medigap policies won't cover long-term care, dental care, vision care, hearing aids, eyeglasses, and private-duty nursing. And most plans do not cover prescription drugs.

If you are going to buy a Medigap plan, the open enrollment period is six months from the first day of the month of your 65th birthday. If you and your spouse want Medigap coverage, you'll need to buy separate policies; spouses aren't covered together.

What is the cost?

Premiums vary among insurance companies, but the benefits of each standard Medigap plan are always the same. There are many different Medigap policies to choose from, however there is no difference in plans offered by different insurers; plan details are all set by the government.

The cost of your Medigap policy depends on the type of plan you buy, the insurance company, your location, and your age. A standardized Medigap policy is guaranteed renewable, even if you have health problems, if you pay your premiums on time.

Still want to know more?

For more information on the specifics of Medigap plans, give us a call today! We can help you to choose a policy that will meet your needs. Contact Adler Insurance in Prescott, call 928-710-1455 or visit our website at http://www.adlerlifehealth.com today.

Prescott Medicare Supplements explained by Adler Insurance

Prescott Medicare Supplements by Adler Insurance
Medicare Supplements, often call Medigap, are health insurance plans designed to supplement the original Medicare program. Medicare supplements provide coverage for the gap between what you are charged for healthcare services and what Medicare pays for. Medigap Plans are government-approved plans that are provided by private health insurance providers. At Adler Insurance Inc., we are here to answer all your questions about Medicare Supplements.

Most of our clients are confused about Medicare parts and plans. Which plans provide the most coverage, and which plans are the most cost effective? Medicare Part A covers the cost of being in the hospital after you pay the $1,260 deductible. Medicare Part B covers about 70% of your out-patient medical expenses. The Medicare Supplements (Medigaps) are designed to fill in the gaps by paying the $1,260 deductible and the other 30% of outpatient medical expenses Parts A and B do not cover.

There are many types of Medicare Supplemental coverage's available called Plans F, G, K, L, M, and N. Plans F and G provide the most expensive Medigap coverage, while Plans K, L, M, and N have progressively more out-of-pocket expenses with lower monthly premiums. For most of us, it is easier to pay the monthly premium for supplemental coverage than it is to pay large medical bills while we are sick.

Eligibility for Medicare Supplemental coverage usually is not a problem. When you reach age 64 ½, you can apply for Medicare Supplemental Insurance without answering any medical questions. After you reach age 65 ½, you will need to answer a short list of medical questions.

At Adler Insurance Inc., our goal is to provide each of our clients with the assistance needed to choose the best insurance coverage possible. We can help you choose the best health insurance, life insurance, or long-term care insurance. Give us a call at 928-710-1455 or visit us online at http://www.adlerlifehealth.com.

Why hire an independent insurance agent?

Your independent insurance agent in Prescott is Adler Insurance.
Consumers generally think they benefit when they buy insurance directly. Adler Insurance explains why this is not true. Many customers think a middle man is an unnecessary third party and they will pay more. So why should you hire an independent insurance broker agent. So what is really important to consumers when researching insurance? These are the 5 things that consumers are concerned with when purchasing insurance.

1. Cost- contrary to belief broker pricing is actually better than direct insurance pricing. The reason for this seems is due to insurers providing different rates to brokers so the premiums are lower.

2. Ease - most thought that buying directly would be easier, but many online queries fell through the cracks. Most brokers are more pro-active in answering phone calls and emails.

3. Speed - Many direct services are routed to call centers with staff not really having insurance knowledge. Brokers were more efficient and saved customers lots of time by answering their questions at the time of inquiry and having the information.

4. Peace of mind that everything is covered - Brokers are more efficient at cross-checking policies and educating their customers with detailed explanations of coverage. Many times the really good direct services focused only covering the low risk policies, and leaving any consumer with non-standard requirements high and dry.

5. Security of personal data - Brokers were better at giving people a stronger feeling that they were in safe hands because they were dealing directly over the phone and not just inputting their data into a website.

Let Adler Insurance help you with all your insurance needs. Trust us to shop around and the policy that best suits your needs. For more information call us at 928-710-1455 or check out our website at http://www.adlerlifehealth.com.

Who is eligible for Medicare?

Adler Medicare eligibility and insurance in Prescott, AZAdler Insurance in Prescott brings you these helpful tips about Medicare eligibility. Medicare is available for people age 65 or older, younger people with disabilities and people with End Stage Renal Disease. Medicare has two parts, Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medicare Insurance).

To find out if you are eligible and your expected premium, go the Medicare.gov eligibility tool.

If you (or your spouse) did not pay Medicare taxes while you worked, and you are age 65 or older and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, you may be able to buy Part A.

If you are under age 65, you can get Part A without having to pay premiums if:

•You have been entitled to Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board disability benefits for 24 months.

•You are a kidney dialysis or kidney transplant patient.

While most people do not have to pay a premium for Part A, everyone must pay for Part B if they want it. This monthly premium is deducted from your Social Security, Railroad Retirement, or Civil Service Retirement check. If you do not get any of these payments, Medicare sends you a bill for your Part B premium every 3 months.

Since January 1, 2006, anyone with Medicare, regardless of income, health status has had access to prescription drug coverage.

Medicare eligibility can be confusing, so contact Adler insurance today for more information and clarification for what is right for you. Call 928-710-1455 or visit our website http://www.AdlerLifeHealth.com.

Do you need an insurance agent for medicare?

Adler Insurance in Prescott can helpWith approximately 10,000 people turning 65 every day in the United States, there is a lot of interest in Medicare.  Every day people are searching the internet to learn about the rules, the features, the benefits and the choices they have when it comes to Medicare. These tips are brought to you by Adler Insurance in Prescott, AZ

One of the first questions people often ask of themselves is “Do I need an insurance agent for Medicare?”  Well, Medicare is complicated, the new terms can be confusing at first.  It takes time to learn, especially for those that do not work with insurance every day.  And it is easy to miss important information and to make wrong choices that cost thousands of dollars down the road.

The right insurance agent can help save you time, reduce confusion or the frustration of learning something new and can save you thousands of dollars in medical expenses that you may not be considering when wading knee-deep in Medicare regulation.

What we have found in our many years of experience in the industry is that most people who choose not to seek the help of a professional agent do so because they fear being sold something.  It’s like how people feel when they walk into a car dealership.  They want a car, and they wouldn’t mind some honest help in considering what to purchase, but they don’t want to be “sold” a car.

A second reason for not seeking advice from a professional is the belief that you can get all the information you need on their own.  Well, that is true, the information is available. However, as a wise man once told me; “Knowledge is not wisdom, and wisdom is not experience.”  Anyone can get the knowledge they need from the Medicare & You handbook and the Choosing a Medigap Policy publication.  You can even call Medicare or other government services.  But, none of those sources can pass along what a good professional has learned from experience.

At Adler Insurance we can help take the hassle and confusion out of Medicare! Call us today. 928-710-1455 or visit our website http://www.adlerlifehealth.com
